The Isle of Wight has been described as a walker’s paradise. With over 500 miles of well-maintained footpaths and lying just a mile or so off the mainland and only two hours from London, this could be an accurate description. With footpaths that wind through fields and forests and over 60 miles of coast paths along some of the Isle of Wight’s most dramatic coastline and beaches, it's a great place for a walking holiday or break.

Isle of Wight Autumn walks

The Island's Autumn Walking Weekend provides the opportunity to breathe in the scenery and autumn colours that the Island has to offer.  With over 60 walks to choose from there is something for all ages and abilities, all led by friendly and knowledgeable leaders. Be prepared for journeys of mystery, intrigue and exploration through the Island’s countryside, woodland, meadows and footpaths.

There are walks for adults and toddlers, such as Fossil hunting and walking with the friendly West Wight Alpacas.  Choose from a selection of walks, dedicated ambles, rambles, historical and general exploration walks. For single adults there is even a very successful Speed Dating Walk, which to date has created many friendships and five weddings!
