Welcome to Justin Brown @ Farringford, a unique Isle of Wight restaurant set within the gardens and former home to Poet Laureate, Alfred Lord Tennyson.

Contemporary and comfortable surroundings compliment the seasonal modern British menus created by our award winning executive chef, Justin Brown. The wood fired oven imparts an exceptional and unique flavour to many of the dishes and is sustainably fuelled from trees grown on the estate.

In the evening the tables are candle-lit and there are revolving art exhibitions from artists both local and further afield.

During the summer the outside terrace is very popular with both self-catering guests and local residents alike. The winter months are both warm and welcoming with the gentle crackle of the wood fire. We have a carefully chosen wine list and a fully licensed bar.

Welcome to the Isle of Wight's first and only chef's table, set in the heart of the kitchen directly opposite the pass you will get to smell and watch every dish get plated up and leave the kitchen directly in front of you.
