Farringford has its own 9-hole par 3 golf course, which residential guests are welcome to use free of charge.

Set within the estate grounds with commanding views of Afton Down, it is a popular course with both guests and visitors and has recently much improved thanks to our new golf course keeper, Paul.

It was designed by well-known former professional golfer and Ryder Cup team member, Clive Clark, who has since worked as a commentator for the BBC and CBS. Clive Clark has his own golf course design company and the course at Farringford was one of his earliest commissions. 

The course provides challenges for the accomplished golfer as well as being short enough for the beginner and is the perfect escape when the wind is blowing on the downs and the legs don't feel up to a full 18.  The The Restaurant, Justin Brown at Farringford is always open for the 19th (10th)!
