October Half Term for 2018 is here!  What are you going to do with all the family?  Commencing on Friday 19th October the Spooky themed Isle of Wight has a loads to offer! 

Firstly @ Northwood House there is the junior version of the Literary Festival – lots of authors inspiring creativity Literary Youth Zone 

Caribrooke Castle – Spooky Castle from 20th October to 28th October visit the spooks that haunt the historic castle 
 
 
Festival of Light Inspired by Diwali @ Robin Hill

Diwali inspired Robin Hill illuminations - offers a themed Festival of Light which can include the exciting paint powder too! 

Wicked Nights @ Blackgang Chine

A brand new Halloween event, coming to the Isle of Wight this October, alongside Blackgang's half term illuminations.

Take the ghost train through the Island’s deserted night time countryside, passing darkened woodland and desolate fields.? 

The Great Outdoors 

But nothing beats the good old outdoors. Get on your bike and enjoy the Red Squirrel Trail or go and have a blustery walk on any of the Island’s many beaches and collect shells and make pebble sculptures. Stride on up the Tennyson Down and stretch your legs against the blustery coastal air to clear those Halloween cobwebs! There are so many sights and things to do here on the Autumnal Isle of Wight and they can all be for free!  Enjoy our outdoors – wrap up warm and take in the views that inspired so many famous writers and authors.
