Lendy Cowes Week 2018

Cowes will be buzzing from 3rd to 11th August with a variety of on-land activities as Cowes Week comes to the town . . . and it's not just for sailors!

Not Just for Sailors!

From Friday 3rd August to Saturday 11th August 2018 Cowes comes alive - a wide range of activities from family focussed Magicians, Facepainting  and treasure hunts  to gin and champagne bars!  If you like to party there is sure to be an event to suit your taste throughout the week.  Cowes week traditionally culminates with the Red Arrows on Friday 10th at 7.30pm and the infamous Cowes Fireworks on Friday at 9.30pm.  The sea front lined with Islanders and Visitors to see both spectacular sites.

Party Town

Northwood House is central for family entertainment throughout the week including the Huge Wheel and Victorian Funfair.  For the harder partygoers there are a range of bands playing throughout the week at Cowes Parade, Cowes Yacht Haven, Shepherds Marina and East Cowes Marina.

These venues also offer a wide variety of food outlets to visit during the day for a relaxing stroll and to soak up the atmosphere. Later on the marinas turn into places to celebrate the racing on the water as the crews return triumphant or ‘not so’ ready to party through the night!

Parking may be a challenge at peak times but the Park and Ride at Somerton Business Park just on the outskirts of Cowes offers an easy option.
