Beautiful grounds, lovely stately house, accommodation comfortable and well kept, staff really friendly – highly recommend.

We stayed in the self catering stables for a 4 night stay. The accommodation is lovely, great size and very clean. The estate is in a perfect location for local attractions and is in the most beautiful spot. The grounds and walled garden are so beautiful, peaceful and full of wildlife. We will definitely be staying here again and would like to thank the staff for a lovely welcome.

Visited the House yesterday. What a beautiful restoration. Found the audio guides really good and simple to use, to be able to stop and start them as you wish is really nice so you don't feel rushed and can pause to contemplate when you want to. Personally would like a bit more information and displays on the restoration of the building and how it has changed over the years. The sections showing the original wallpaper and friezes were excellent.

A well organised tour of Tennyson's house. I learnt a lot about the man, his family and his circle of friends!
